BACC’s second annual trunk or treat event a spooktacular success

Over 400 children and adults attended our second annual trunk or treat event the day before halloween. Attendees got to visit trunks decorated for the season collecting memories, a few scares, and lots of candy.

In addition to our south rink being circled with vehicles attended by their costumed owners, our east rink sheltered Prancing Pony Portable Petting Zoo. Guests got to visit with llamas, goats, cows, ponies, and even some baby chickens.

There was also a group of Ghostbusters impersonators entertaining guests and posing for photos.

It was so well attended that community centre volunteers had to rush out to purchase more candy halfway through the event to supply the haunted trunks.

Last year’s event was a success too, and we’re happy to provide a fun trick or treat experience for members of the community.

Thanks so much to everyone who attended, and of course the volunteers who helped make this a reality!
